Each year, IEEE Day is celebrated around the world.

The celebration(s) this year will take place on Tuesday October 1st.

Globally, the various units of the IEEE and individual IEEE members are encouraged to create their own events which celebrate the IEEE and what it means to them.

The Vancouver Section is busy planning a unique IEEE Day event for our members and friends.

Date:             Tuesday October 1st, 2019,

Location:      Vancouver – Creekside Community Centre.

Time:             Starting at 17:00.

With special guest speaker: Bob Stewart, P. Eng, past APEGBC President

We are planning for many exciting elements in this celebration, including:

* Networking
* Presentations
* Refreshments
* Photo Op in front of Vancouver IEEE Monument
* Executive Meeting open to all

So, please mark IEEE Day on your  personal calendar!
