Sensors are set to become increasingly important to help us understand the phenomena around you and improve life experiences, work, education, recreation, medical, and other aspects of our modern lives.
The IEEE Sensors Council Chapter of the Vancouver Section was formed in February 2020. The Chapter aims to bring together people interested in the theory, design, fabrication, manufacturing, and application of devices for sensing and transducing physical, chemical, and biological phenomena.
The Chapter provides a forum for networking with local professionals in the Sensors field and offers an opportunity for exchanging ideas and learning about the latest issues in the area. We organize technical meetings with experts from industry and academia (open to IEEE members and non-members).
Regular announcements regarding chapter activities are made through our Chapter page at:
(IEEE Sensors Council Chapter (Vancouver, Canada) | Groups | LinkedIn) with open membership, as well as IEEE newsletters.
We welcome all interested individuals that would like to contribute to promoting idea exchange, networking, and education on Sensor related matters through fresh ideas and their time.
