IEEE Milestone Proposal: Trans-Canada Microwave System

Dr. David Michelson of the IEEE History Committee has expressed interest in documenting the construction and completion of the Trans-Canada Microwave System across the country in the late 1950’s. This would include how this telecommunications network impacted the lives and business of Canadians from coast-to-coast.

He is looking for information from anyone who has worked on this system, or has any historical documentation that would help in his project. At the time the Trans-Canada Radio Network was the longest Microwave network in the world.
