Summer Social Event is a growing success

The recent IEEE Section Summer Social Event, held on August 11, 2024, at Station Hill Park in Burnaby, was a great success.

With 47 IEEE members and 6 non-members attending, the event provided a valuable opportunity for members to meet, network, and discuss potential projects.

Family members and guests were also welcomed, adding a social element that made the gathering more inclusive.

Attendees provided very positive feedback, appreciating the relaxed atmosphere for connecting with peers and Vancouver Section officers.

Overall, the event achieved its goal of building community engagement, and plans are already in motion for future events.
