Call for Volunteers

Dear Fellow IEEE Vancouver Section Members,

This is an open call for volunteers to contribute to Section Exec, Various Chapter & Affinity Groups, Chairs and Vice Chairs for 2021. Generally, the core executive transitions their roles from Secretary to Treasurer to Vice Chair to Chair and to Past Chair, but you are welcome to seek nomination for one of these if you wish to do so.

Please check the 2020 Roster for a complete list of volunteer positions and there are a few vacancies that need to be filled as a priority, as follows:

• Advertising & Publicity
• Membership Development
• Section Secretary
• Teacher In-Service Program (TISP)
• Web Content Editor

Please send an email with your expression of interest along with IEEE membership number to Bob Gill – Past Chair. Nominations will be accepted until Sunday, November 22nd 2020. Nomination Committee Members will collect all nominations and then set up an election forum should there be two or more nominations for a role.
