IEEE Vancouver Section congratulates UBC Professor Dr. Alla Sheffer on her elevation to the Grade of IEEE Fellow.

Professor Sheffer’s citation reads: “for contributions to mesh parameterization and hexahedral meshing”.

The Grade of IEEE Fellow is an honour and special distinction reserved for select IEEE members with an extraordinary record of accomplishments in any of the IEEE fields of interest.  The total number of IEEE Fellows selected in any one year does not exceed one-tenth of one percent of the total voting Institute membership.
