Abstract: Examples of distributed and networked systems are many in society, such as in manufacturing and oil & gas facilities. The safety and security of these systems are of paramount importance. This seminar covers different theoretical concepts for developing control and monitoring methods for distributed and networked systems. It addresses control system setups and focuses on the associated modelling frameworks and design procedures. The seminar also covers different approaches for building resilient distributed and networked systems with respect to abnormality scenarios, such as faults and cyber attacks.
