[] The 2025 IEEE Vancouver Section’s AGM and Gala Dinner will be held on Saturday, March 29th, starting at 5:30 PM in Burnaby, BC, at the Element Hotel. One of the highlights of the evening is an exciting keynote presentation by a distinguished local technology leader. Keynote Speaker: Dr. Richard Frank Professor in the School of Criminology at Simon Fraser University (SFU), Canada, and Director of the International CyberCrime Research Centre (ICCRC). The event will also feature: • The announcement of student scholarships and section awards • Networking opportunities before and after the banquet • A student poster competition with cash prizes • A delicious buffet dinner, including vegetarian options We have an exciting evening planned for our members, guests, and friends—featuring a great venue, delicious food, an outstanding keynote speaker, and valuable networking opportunities with colleagues and friends!
