Dear Colleagues and Friends, We would like to invite you to IEEE CSS Days 2026, five days celebrating the IEEE Control Systems Society. The event is fully virtual and single-track, and it runs from October 19 to 23, 2026. Sessions are scheduled across the day in UTC so that members in every region can join live. Each day has its own theme. Monday opens with a welcome from the CSS President and an overview of the event by the Vice President for Technical Activities. This is followed by the Publications Showcase, where the editors of the Society’s journals, magazines and book series present their venues. The day continues with a session on the history of our field and two panels with CSS Distinguished Lecturers. Tuesday is dedicated to the Society’s community, outreach and diversity activities. It includes sessions on careers, mentoring and inclusion in control, as well as activities for young researchers. Wednesday focuses on industry and innovation. It includes panels with industry leaders, an industrial case study, a Distinguished Lecture, and the President’s Forum moderated by CSS President Carolyn Beck with Tamer Başar, Bob Bitmead, Tariq Samad and Jay Farrell. Thursday is Chapters Day, with sessions organized by CSS chapters around the world. The Control, Robotics and Cybernetics Joint Chapter program is scheduled for Thursday October 22nd, from 16pm PDT to 18pm PDT. Friday is Technical Committees Day, with sessions from the Society’s technical committees and talks covering all aspects of control theory and applications. Whether you are a student, a researcher, a practitioner or simply curious about control, there is something for you. You can attend as many or as few sessions as you like.
