VANCOUVER SECTION OFFICER NOMINATIONS and ELECTION 2023

The Vancouver Section announces its proposed slate of Section Officers for 2023.

Section Vice Chair:     Mandeep Pannu
Section Treasurer:      Osama Ansari
Section Secretary:      Pooya Taheri

Okanagan Sub-section Chair:      Youry Khmelevsky

Northern BC Sub-Section Chair:   Fan Jiang

Any Section member (above the grade of Student Member) who wishes to run (against one of the above nominees) for one of the above elected Section Officer positions must be nominated by petition. In order to be nominated as a petition candidate, a section member must:

– be a Vancouver Section Member (above the grade of student member)
– have the support of at least 12 section members

Any Section member seeking to run as a petition candidate must complete the petition application process within 28 days of this notice (end of Dec 7, 2022).

Potential petition candidates may self nominate.  All petition candidates require support from a minimum member of IEEE members in good standing.

If no petition candidate(s) complete the petition nomination process by the above date, the above nominated candidates will be declared elected by acclamation.
