IEEE Vancouver Section Sponsors the Successful IEMCON 2019 Conference

The IEEE Vancouver Section was a proud sponsor of the successful IEMCON 2019 conference! Spanning three days from October 17-19, the 10th annual IEMCON conference drew researchers, students, and industry professionals from around the globe. The conference included a very exciting schedule consisting of 7 corporate keynotes, 8 research keynotes, and 36 breakout sessions.  Workshops on ethical hacking, IOT concepts, and data analytics gave students and long-time engineers hands-on experience with the latest IOT and software technologies.

Attendees were presented with peer-reviewed research findings in the fields of electronics and information technology. Exhibitions and poster networking sessions gave attendees the opportunity to discuss the state of the art with researchers and industry representatives from around the world. On the final day, a Smart Maker Fair provided students and budding entrepreneurs the opportunity to showcase their inventions to conference-goers.
