Section AGM & Gala To Be Held At The Permanent, downtown Vancouver

The Vancouver Section’s Annual General Meeting is drawing closer and the Section executive are inviting section members, friends of the section and their guests to join them for an exciting evening.

Beyond conducting the official business of the Section, the AGM & Gala provides an opportunity for recognizing and honoring outstanding individuals and groups within the Section. During the AGM, Section awards and the Vancouver Section Student Scholarships will be presented.

The AGM & Gala also provides an opportunity for the Section to recognize and thank our collaborating organizations, and our corporate sponsors from industry for their support of the Section.

With a prestigious and topical keynote speaker, a delicious meal, and opportunities for meeting colleagues and friends, the Section aims to attract a broad audience of members, guests and interested members of the public.

Prior to the start of the meeting, attendees will be able review the entries in the student poster competition.
And attendees will have the opportunity to hear from the President of IEEE Canada, Wahab Almuhtadi.

The keynote speaker will be announced shortly.
