In-person IEEE Day event attracts attendees!
IEEE Day 2022 Celebration in Vancouver
The IEEE Vancouver Section celebrated IEEE Day on October 4th, 2022 at Creekside Community Centre in Vancouver.
The executives of the section were excited to hold the local IEEE Day event in person once again, after 2 years of holding the event online. Approximately 40 members and friends of the Section came together to socialize, and hear the keynote speech given by past Section Chair Dr. Guillaume Boisset!
The event was generously sponsored by Destination Vancouver. As had been organized in past years, the attendees gathered at the IEEE Vancouver Section Centennial Monument outside Vancouver’s iconic Science World.
