Vahideh Shirmohammadli

Vahideh Shirmohammadli is a leading researcher in the field of Unconventional Computing, with a particular focus on developing unconventional hardware processors. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Applied Sciences at Simon Fraser University and has published numerous papers in top-tier journals, including advanced material technologies.

In addition to her research activities, Vahideh is also a chair of the IEEE SFU Student Branch and has served as the chair of several student associations during her studies. She is skilled at bringing together experts from diverse backgrounds to facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration and discussion.

Vahideh is deeply committed to mentorship and has served as a supervisor and mentor to numerous graduate students over the years. She is known for her ability to inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential.
