KPU IEEE Cyber Security and Digital Forensics

IEEE Vancouver Joint Computer Chapter and Computer Science and Information Technology Department, School of Business at KPU has announced the 5th Annual Symposium on Cyber Security and Digital Forensics. Featured presenters will include academics, industry, law enforcement and government representatives to provide diverse viewpoints in the identification and response to challenges and opportunities in the context of cyber security and digital forensics.

UBC IEEE Marine Systems Workshop

March 15, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, UBC Room: 2020/2030, Bldg: Kaiser

Vancouver Section’s Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society (AESS) and Oceanic Engineering Society (OES) Chapter has announced a major workshop on Marine Systems, in collaboration with UBC. This full-day event, to be held on March 15th, will bring together academia, government and industry to consider some of the engineering challenges facing Canada’s Shipbuilding and Industrial Marine Sector with a focus on shipboard power systems, shipboard communications systems and EMC, human factors and dependable computing and cybersecurity.
